4-Terminal Perovskite Silicon Tandem Architecture
At P3C Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd., our current research focuses on a 4-terminal perovskite silicon tandem architecture, where a specially engineered NIR-transparent perovskite solar cell is placed on top of a traditional silicon panel. The perovskite top cell captures high-energy light, while allowing near-infrared wavelength light to pass through to the silicon below. This dual absorption significantly boosts the electricity generation of existing rooftop systems without requiring additional installation space.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: develop tandem solar solutions that deliver more energy from the same space, unlocking a new era of high-efficiency renewable power.
This approach is globally recognised as one of the most promising technologies for next-generation solar, especially in urban and industrial areas where rooftop space is limited. Our goal at P3C is to make this breakthrough accessible to real-world users.
Development Roadmap
Prototype Development
We are beginning our prototype development with a 2-inch module size, followed by scaled versions of 4-inch, 6-inch, target efficiency of 25%, to target efficiency of 28%.
Controlled Scaling
These controlled size increments help us refine efficiency, transparency, uniformity, and stability at each stage before moving toward large-area manufacturing.
Future Vision
While our current architecture is 4-terminal, our long-term vision is to transition into a 2-terminal monolithic tandem design with a target efficiency of 25%, bringing P3C closer to global leaders in tandem PV innovation.

Additionally, all certification, validation, and performance testing will be carried out with NISE (National Institute of Solar Energy) to meet national and international PV standards.
